Local Authority in North Wales
Energy Hut have been carrying out energy assessments since 2014 to assist the local authority in reaching their corporate targets. This also helps the client develop bespoke programmes of works to improve the efficiency of the properties and benefit their tenants.
More recently, we’ve just completed several modelling scenarios provided to Welsh Government which will assist with ongoing heating upgrade programmes.
We began working with a local University in 2012 and continue to support the Estates Management Team in ensuring their compliance through Display Energy Certificates and Energy Performance Certificates, whilst providing guidance to help drive efficiencies across the campus.
As part of their ‘University Carbon Reduction Programme’, recommended upgrades included cavity wall and loft insulation, LED lighting, heating, draft proofing, automated controls and advice on energy contracts – together, these have made significant monetary and carbon savings.
